# What You'll Need:

→ Fresh Vegetables

01 - 1 cup baby carrots
02 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes
03 - 1 cup cucumber slices
04 - 1 cup broccoli florets
05 - 1 cup cauliflower florets
06 - 1 cup red bell pepper strips
07 - 1 cup celery sticks

→ Ranch Dip

08 - 1 cup sour cream
09 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
10 - 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
11 - 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
12 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
13 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
14 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
15 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
16 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
17 - 1-2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

# Directions:

01 - Wash all vegetables thoroughly. Cut carrots, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, bell pepper, and celery into uniform bite-sized pieces. Pat dry and arrange in grouped sections on a large serving platter.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, fresh dill, chives, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Whisk vigorously until completely smooth and well blended. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
03 - Transfer the prepared ranch dip to a small serving bowl. Place the bowl in the center of the vegetable platter. Serve immediately, or cover vegetables and dip separately and refrigerate until ready to serve.

# Expert Hints:

01 -
  • The homemade dip takes literally five minutes but makes people think you have secret kitchen skills
  • You can prep everything hours ahead and actually enjoy your own party instead of playing host all night
02 -
  • Do not cut the vegetables too far ahead or they start looking sad and droopy
  • The dip tastes significantly better after it has had time to hang out in the fridge for an hour
03 -
  • Cut the vegetables uniformly so they all look inviting and easy to grab
  • Sprinkle a little extra fresh parsley on top of the dip right before serving
